Went to the city with Nick today.
He arrived on Monday, at which point we had beer until Tuesday. Then we went shopping and didn’t buy anything, and then it was Thursday.
Thursday saw us go shopping again except this time he bought a shirt and some pants and I bought a bottle of Pepsi and a hot dog crepe. We do live in a wonderful society.
I didn’t have any money to spend so we did a fair bit of walking around. It was hot, and I was feeling a bit vacant, and both of our feet started to hurt so he caught a bus home and I tried to catch a train.
It cost $2.72 and took an hour and a half to get home. I am as of yesterday extremely pissed off with public transport in Brisbane, but this just reinforces the position.
