This fitness binge started with some previously un-published stats.

The goal wasn’t really specified either, instead being mentioned as “fit into my new t-shirts,” and after the first kilo’s loss, that was kind of fulfilled.
It’s not good enough, so here’s a new post to actually set some goals. I’m looking to hit 87 kilos. It’s an odd number, but it’s around a ten-kilo loss overall, and it tucks me just nicely into the “average” body weight category. Once I accomplish that I can work out some further goals.
A few years back my average weight was 82 kg and I stayed at that number for quite some time. I’m not sure if that’s an ideal place to be, but it’s smack in the middle of the “average” BMI and quite possibly a good starting place to put on some muscle, which is the second (albeit long term goal) of this exercise.
I’ve already lost a kilo to date, although the weekend’s been particularly detrimental with pizza, beer, bourbon, and Doritos. All things that could be better utilised somewhere other than inside me, but I digress.
So that’s what’s happening, what I’m aiming for at the moment, and all that.
